Our Story
Rocketry has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a kid. That was evident when I blew the curve on the water rocket project in 8th grade. I didn't discover High Power Rocketry until college though. My roommate Chris convinced me to get my Level 1 after showing me his adventures in California.
Fast forward a few years and we made the trip to BALLS in 2005, the premier rocketry launch in the black rock desert. Not having anything to launch myself, I hung out and helped with several projects. That day, there was a team that launched to 105k and brought back video of the curvature of the earth (an incredible feat back then considering the state of electronics, radio telemetry, and camera equipment). From that point forward, I knew I wanted to put a rocket past the Karman Line.
Projects this big take manpower and funds, both of which I didn't have back then. Now that we're a bit older (and wiser) and we can fund an endeavor like this, the team was created in 2021 to do just that. We'll yeet a rocket into space, no matter what! If you want to help be a part of this special endeavor, we could sure use it!
